Grit blasting works can be delivered using fully encapsulated working areas to minimise risk of inclement weather and programme or open cast blasting using a variety of blast media and substrates, Iron Silica J Blast media was used to prepare the existing high-pressure gas main for painting on this project.
Application of Paint and Coating Systems
First coat of a four coat paint system being applied to Blaydon AGI high-pressure gas main.
Redevelop supply and apply all specifications of industry accredited paint systems including;
- Hempadur 45880 Aluminium Primer
- Hempadur 45880 MIO Primer
- Hempadur 45880 Mastic intermediate coat (light grey)
- Hempathane 55210 Topcoat Grey (BS-18-B21)
- Hempathane 55210 Topcoat Black (BS-00-E-53)
- Protal 7300 Dark Grey
- Protal 7300 Light Grey
- Serviwrap
